And of course we can't forget some of those great school movies, the first that comes to mind for me is Grease released in 1978, it was a raunchy, rock n' roll delight that brought Danny Zucko (drop dead gorgeous  John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson played by Olivia Newton John into the lives of teenagers around the globe. Oh my god...I still know all the words to " Beauty School Drop Out and Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee...ok I admit it, I know all the words to every song and most of the script!!!  Who was I trying to kid?


INTERVIEW TIME:  I managed to get hold of Princess Oaks to have a chat about her winning photo; "UMMMMM, NOT!!!...LOL."

June 2010, Dusk was soon to fall and as is my habit I walked the shoreline of our family lands, enjoying the lush sounds of water gently lapping against the rocks and birds singing their final songs of the day.  My King had been called to business abroad and would be gone for several days, our High Chancellors and Royal Council were relaxing and the guards were at their posts.

Another normal day however as the sun began to disappear a chill crawled upon my skin, the clouds began to lower in the sky and all became silent.  I looked around, not frightened but alert to danger and as I did felt an unknown presence lurking in the shadows.

 It was a strange and unsettling experience, I could see nothing untoward, yet I could feel it coming closer and closer. Every nerve in my body tingled, a strange piercing noise surrounded me and danger prickled upon my skin.  I knew that there was foul magic afoot and that I was quite possibly in danger.

The noise was no longer surrounding me, it was a part of me, my strength deserted me and I felt knees weaken.  Slowly as though my mind and my body was suspended in a thick fog I sank down onto the damp grass at my feet.

Queen MissTeaK starts to gain consciousness!

I partially opened one eye as I started to feel consciousness returning.  I was on my stomach, laying face down on something soft that stank like the pits of a sewer.  I tried to move my head ever so slightly and a roar of pain flooded my ears.  As I lay there I became aware of the pain in my hands, my legs, my body, my spirit. I was unable to move, unable to heal myself, I could feel weakness and pain. What was this magik that had attacked me that could make bring me pain?  I a Vampire Queen does not endure pain or sickness or weakness....EVER!

As time went by, I became focussed on returning to health and escape.  With rats as my only source of sustenance, I began to hunt!  Animalistic  tendencies took over as I snared my first rodent, a large grey haired male who thought he could get the better of me.  I struck him hard against the metal bars of my cell, breaking his neck instantly.  His death complete, I sank back onto the putrid mattress, bared my fangs and began to feast.

KIDNAPPED!

I continued to hunt and feed on the rats that were my cell mates.  Although large, they did not hold much vital fluids for my intake, just enough to keep my wits about me however no self-healing was I able to do.

I do not know if hours or days had past when family found me.  Unable to reach me in my shield protected prison, they were left to watch my suffering, whilst final demands for ransom were negotiated.

My family took turns in vigilant watch, giving me comfort and strength of spirit.  Being a proud woman, I am to this day dismayed that my family saw me so vulnerable, however to have such love from ones family is a true gift.  A gift that I cherish and return without question.

The ransom was made and I released into the loving arms of my family.  RETRIBUTION was my demand!  I sent out my best Warriors to capture my kidnapper and placed a reward on HIS HEAD!!!
